This week my diploma was officially handed to me after 4 years of Communication & Multimedia Design. It still feels weird that it’s completely over now.
But I’m going continue studying. This time in Belgium where I’m going to study Graphic Design. This probably will be 3 more years until I receive my Master degree. I had my doubts in the first place because 3 more years sounded a bit too much. But the information days gave a good impression and I’m actually really looking forward to it.
The first two months of my Graduation Internship passed rather quickly. As I’m going to develop a complete new re-design I spend most of the time working on research. The most interesting, and in this case also the most important, factor of the research were the Usability tests.
As I’m going to delevop a re-design, I asked people to give feedback on the current version of the website. Their opinions differed, but they also had a lot in common. Along with the other research I now have a good insight of their needs. So currently I’m working on the content and structure of the website.
After 4 years of my current study it’s time for my graduation project. Until June this year I’ll work as a trainee at Vodafone.
My project is based on interface design. I’m going to do a redesign from the research till the final design.
It’s quite a nice project as I’ve a lot of freedom, and I’m curious to see how it goes from here to the end. At the moment I’m still working on the research. But I’ll post a more revealing update when it get’s more interesting.
